Artist's Statement
I am especially fond of the colour pink! However, I love colour in general and am not afraid to use it!! I also love texture. I primarily work in oil paint which I thickly put on to create different effects in my designs. Increasingly I am experimenting with other materials such as sand, shells, fabric and wood. I paint in many different styles, as my mood takes me and as my varied gallery demonstrates. Every painting comes from the heart. I believe in only selling pieces of art which I love and am proud of and I try to ensure that every piece makes you look twice and keeps you coming back for more, taking something different from it each and every time. As a result there is no "right" way to hang my designs, every side tells a different story and canvases can be rotated as you choose.
Biography
Born in Jersey in the Channel Islands, UK, Tash Hatherall grew up in the East Midlands before moving around a whole lot more! Tash is a professional marketer by day and artist in her spare time. Her paintings are slowly becoming part of many homes across the UK and further ashore and increasingly Tasha is working on a commission basis and gaining popularity through word of mouth and personal recommendation. She currently lives in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, UK, with a house full of paintings and a very understanding boyfriend!
